GECOL Term
GECOL Term is a flexable fibre reinforced, waterproofing adhesive mortar suitable for the installation and protection of expanded polystyrene (EPS) or mineral wool thermal insulation panels, directly on the enclosure wall of the building.
It offers excellent water-resistance, thixotropic properties and adherence to both the surface (ceramic brick, cement block, etc.) and the different insulation materials – Polyisocyanurate (PIR), Expanded polystyrene (EPS) or mineral wool.
It is also used to smooth and harden the finish on insulation panels, giving them greater surface resistance.
It improves the insulation and waterproofing of the unit and prevents water penetration whilst also maintaining permeability to vapour, thereby enabling the building to breathe properly and preventing possible condensation.
It has been developed specifically for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems. GECOL TERM (SATE / ETICS).
